The wildlife and its habitat
cannot speak, so we must and we will.
~Theodore Roosevelt
Since the 1940’s, the Greene County Wildlife Club, Inc. has worked
hand in hand with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission by
lobbying for and helping to finance many worthy projects.
All of our efforts help to make Greene County a place where
sporting opportunity can be found by everyone. As an
organization dedicated to conservation, our greatest
accomplishment in the last twenty years has been the amount
of hunting, fishing and outdoor opportunities we have
provided by protecting habitat. The protection of over
5,000 acres of public land in the form of the William E.
Brewer/Scatter Creek Wildlife Management Area on Crowley’s
Ridge and nearly 200 acres on the St. Francis River will
help to provide those outdoor opportunities for years to
come. Please use this site in order to better familiarize
yourself with our fine organization and our endeavors.
